Logistics Project Leader

We are searching for an expert in logistics with experience in leading projects who is capable of improving cost-effectiveness of all logistic operations concerning land, sea and air transport. A perfect candidate is fluent in SAP SD and WM modules (WM module is not obligatory), speaks English well (German would be an additional advantage), is experienced in coordinating logistics between several warehouses /distribution centres located in different European countries, possesses strong analytical skills and is able to clearly present the gathered data. It is of paramount importance for the candidate to be experienced in managing logistics projects aimed at cost reduction.

Your responsibilities:

• Improving cost-effectiveness of logistic operations;
• Gathering Data, creating calculations and presenting the data
• Identifying process or system innovation opportunities for Transport Operations;
• Coordination of Strategic logistics projects (develop, initiate, execute projects);
• Leading & implementing strategic and transformational projects, follow-up necessary actions;
• Being part of tendering process and tender management.

Our requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain related discipline;
• Strong project management skills (both theoretical and practical knowledge);
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Transportation processes and logistics processes with required system support activity;
• Good command of written and spoken English (German would be an additional advantage).
• High competency in analytics and the ability to interpret and communicate complex data sets;
• A strong aptitude for motivating and influencing teams at all levels without direct reporting authority;
• Knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution module;
• Knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management module would be an additional advantage;
• Proficiency in MS Office with strength in MS Excel and Power Point.
