Hydraulics Systems Engineer

This Role In Summary:

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Hydraulics Engineer opening to join our Dishwasher Team at the Wroclaw Technology Center in Poland.
 
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
 
Reporting to the Global Wash System Manager, the engineer will be responsible for improving the cost and quality of our dishwasher hydraulics systems globally and develop new technologies for the future. The engineer will find ways to improve the hydraulics performance and efficiency of our products. The role will require close cooperation with the lab, other engineering teams and company functions (manufacturing, procurement etc). The individual will own subsystem requirements and will be responsible for delivering reliable design.  The successful candidate will be joining a talented team of individuals within our well established and highly successful Wroclaw Dishwasher Team.

What You Will Do:

  • Research, design and development of hydraulic systems (including electromechanical parts)  that create a compelling value proposition for our customers and our business.
  • Optimization of system performance, reliability and cost.
  • Identification, analysis, and execution of system refinement needs.
  • Data acquisition, analysis, and evaluation.
  • Active participation in technical project reviews and innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Hydraulics or Mechanical Engineering,
  • Foundations of Electromechanical l systems 
  • Experience in related fields (Hydraulics, Electromechanical or Fluid dynamics)

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Hydraulic systems and pumps design knowledge
  • Project management.  Demonstrated ability to take projects to market preferred.
  • Very good written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Knowledge in manufacturing processes and variation
  • Knowledge in Six Sigma Design practices
  • Demonstrated interest and ability in thinking across disciplines and across teams
  • Ability to interact with team members
  • Knowledge in tolerance analysis
  • Basic knowledge of technologies in mechanical, thermohydraulics, chemical, or electrical areas. 
  • Knowledge of basic technical equipment and power tools. 
  • Development of data acquisition systems and experience in using analysis tools like Minitab 
  • Experience working with third parties such as suppliers
