Internal Auditor

Job scope

As an Internal Auditor, you will be performing financial, operational and compliance audits, in line with the regional audit plan and supporting the preparation of reporting to management and the Audit Committee. 

The role is located in Warsaw (during pandemic we work remotely).

Your tasks in this role

• Perform financial, operational, and compliance audits, including identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing evidence, documenting processes and procedures
• Participate in developing internal audit deliverables and ensure that work is completed within agreed deadlines
• Formalize and present audit findings to the management
• Support in ensuring the closure of identified deficiencies
• Perform SOX 404 testing, including walkthroughs and control testing, analyzing key controls, documenting deficiencies, and providing feedback
• Provide assistance to the external auditors for their annual activities, through SOX 404 procedures
• Analyze processes and suggest system improvements, acting as a business partner

Background and Experience

Minimum requirements to succeed

• Master’s Degree in Economics, Financial Accounting or similar field 
• 1 - 2 years of experience as an Internal or External Auditor
• Fluent English - other European languages are an advantage
• International travel will be required after pandemic (up to 50%), mainly in the EMEA region
• Good knowledge of Accounting principles and Risk & Control framework
• MS Excel (pivots, advanced formulas, large data analysis) and SAP knowledge
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
