Cost Analysis Engineer

You will join the Operation Excellence Project Costing Team to support new project development on defining and tracking the cost and manage cost-related analysis (make vs. buy, footprint plans, etc.)

Your main job objectives will be as follow:

• Execute the estimation of New Products Normative/Actual/Forecast Cost through the pBOM (structured Bill Of Material simulating the final Production BOM) according to the EMEA NPI (New Product Introduction)
• Cost Management Process
• Analyze and report comparison vs. previous estimates
• Support strategic initiatives with Cost Analysis (DTV - Design to Value, Footprint, CNC - Core Not Core) by using a standard approach to enable the Business Case calculation and analysis
• Active participation in all main routines for the active projects

The skillset that we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic (preferred)
• Project Management knowledge
• Proven experience in a multi-cultural organization
• Google Suite (especially Google Sheets) and Microsoft Excel knowledge on the intermediate/expert level is a must (V-lookups, Pivot Tables)
• SAP knowledge is a great asset
• Fluency in English is a must, Italian will be a great asset
• Knowledge about plastics, steels, tooling (molds, stamping), equipment, industrial processes is a great asset
