Business Analyst / Tester

Key Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible to deliver a significant stream of this program in a PM support, analysis/testing role in order to deliver the following outcomes:

  • Business analysis. The candidate will need to own some specific deliverables to partner with both business and IT users in performing requirements collation, analysis and documentation as well as ad hoc investigations as required.
  • Test management, execution and reporting.  The candidate will need to own and drive detailed testing phases within the overall project lifecycle for specific products across certain Front Office applications (trade stores, interface components, risk management systems and results storage databases).  This will assist in establishing standardized processes and infrastructure in partnership with Front Office IT for the Front Office workstreams within the Legal Entity Programme.
  • Experienced test management / test execution:
    • Ability to develop overall test strategy and test cases from business requirement documents
    • Ability to execute test cases in partnership with business user groups and IT developers / other project team members
    • Ability to log defects and track resolution through with relevant IT / user groups

Essentials Skills and requirements: 

  • Experience in business analysis in Front Office programs.
  • Experience in managing small projects and dealing with stakeholders
  • Ideally familiarity across IB products and processes (Bonds, Cash Equities, Repo and Structured Notes)
  • Ideally Front Office (Trade Management and Risk Management Systems) exposure
