Threat Engagement Manager

The Threat Engagement Manager position is part of the Managed Security Services team. This is a global team of threat management, analysis, response and hunting experts committed to detecting and eradicating threats within our client networks.
The Threat Engagement Manager is a unique key position, reporting directly to the MSS VP, working exclusively with top clients in region while teaming up closely with other veteran players in MSS. Its primary role is to partner with top clients on security posture and continuous detection capabilities improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting threat analysis and tuning.
  • Experience in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology is a major advantage.
  • Experience in tuning complex patterns of security events from firewalls, IDS, IPS, SIEM, Web Application Firewall, and other security data sources.

Role:

  • Understand the customers’ ecosystem and how it can be further configured to improve security posture and efficiency of threat analysis services.
  • Collaborate closely with the local, client-dedicated, highly-motivated, veteran support teams to develop, present, execute and track such improvements.
  • Work side by side in an advisory role with the wider threat analysis teams.

Education:

  • We prefer college educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Preferred candidates will have some certifications in Security/Networking including Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, CEH, OSCP or other security specific vendor/product certifications.
