Sales Engineering Manager
The Sales Engineering Centre of Excellence Manager role will be responsible to lead the COE team in Warsaw. As a leader of the team, you will partner with global Sales and Sales Engineering teams in providing technical sales support to customer engagements. In this role you will collaborate with the Product Management and other backend delivery teams. This role reports to the Director of Sales Engineering. The team will consist of Sales Engineering and RFX/Proposal creation resources.
Responsibilities
- Ensure success of the COE in providing support to the global SE and Sales function
- Ensure consist high quality material and support is provided by the COE
- Build and adhere to best practice to lead the gold standard for Trustwave in proposal creation and solution design
- Recruit, mentor and inspire SEs to do the best work of their careers. Build the appropriate organizational structures to balance the need for specialization with revenue coverage
- Champion the voice of our users and customers and influence product direction and feature priorities
- Build appropriate processes, measurement and infrastructure needed
- Reinforce the technical excellence, hands-on focus, and customer first culture. Preserve the “start-up” energy as we scale
- Build technical thought leadership on architecture, processes, and operationalization aspects of the COE.
- Steer the GTM strategy by working closely with the global sales leadership
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educational or industry experience
- 7+ years of experience working in a pre-sales capacity related to at least two of the following core domains: Network Security, Endpoint Security, Security Consulting, Incident Response, SIEM, Threat Detection and Managed Security solutions
- Previous technical enablement or training experience
- Previous technical leadership or management experience
- Excellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including:Linux, Network architecture/implementation/configuration experience Knowledge of packet flow/TCP/UDP traffic Firewall technologies, proxy technologies, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions (Gateway and SaaS) Malware/security experience
- Understand and be conversant about Trustwave competitors, their solutions, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
- Basic knowledge in one or more of the following security and compliance/regulatory standards: CIS, ISO 2700x, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, PIPEDA, HK PDPO, EU DPD, BDSG, DISA-STIG,etc.
- Verifiable and current certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, C|EH, CISM and/or CISA.
