Senior Business Analyst

Broadridge is hiring. We currently have an opening for a Senior Business Analyst based out of our Gdansk office.

In this role, you will support an emerging product line within Broadridge. As we continue to invest in our Data and Analytics offering, you will have a direct impact on the expansion of one of our key growth initiatives. Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers and prospects to identify, collect, and analyze customer requirements to build technology solutions.

• Partner with the Technology Development, Business Development (Sales), Service Delivery, and Product Management to turn business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Analyze large data sets with the ability to draw conclusions and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
  • Build data visualizations including dashboards and reports
  • Oversee the deployment of new and existing datasets to the data warehouse.
• Document solutions to guide data delivery and implementation specialists during the new client on boarding process.
• Consult with Business Development on new business opportunities and provides mentorship on project scope definition, business requirements gathering and analysis, project timing, and client success criteria from a technology perspective.
• Validate implemented solutions to ensure quality and conformance to agreed-to customer requirements.
• Facilitate the transition of implemented solutions to technology, business line operational and customer service teams for long term maintenance and support.
• Craft and maintains project artifacts documenting scope, key landmarks, custom development treatments, and integration testing plans as required.
• Regularly review overall project progress with technology and business line teams.
• Be on top of the identification and mitigation of risk for service delivery projects.
• Deliver accurate effort estimates for work you're leading.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by being willing to tackle any project task required.
• Work effectively on multiple projects at once.

Required experience:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school
• 7+ years working experience working with various stakeholders in a complex organization in a Business Analyst function
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or similar
• Writing SQL queries and analyzing data in the database across multiple datasets
• Best practices for data governance and data lineage
• Being a self-starter with genuine passion for data and attention to detail in data is a must
• Prior experience working in an agile environment 
• Prior Financial Services experience a plus
• Exemplary communication and technical skills, the ability to identify, gather and understand complex business requirements, and an understanding of how good software solutions and service offerings are designed.

We would also love to see, though not required:

• Experience implementing a Data Warehouse built on a cloud platform such as  Snowflake, Redshift or similar
• Experience with ETL workflows
• Experience using Python and/or Jupyter Notebooks to manipulate and analyze data
