Supplier Quality Manager

Currently, for one of our clients, we are looking for motivated candidates willing to work on a Supplier Quality Manager post. This is an expert level role in the organisation structure with the opportunity to become managerial in the future.

Our Client is a big international company from production sector located in Wrocław.

Description

• Managing a process of Supplier Quality Assurance realisation by Quality Engineers
• Ensuring an appropriate work service for Quality Engineers in terms of providing quality solutions for suppliers;
• Managing a team of Incoming Quality Inspectors (external provider) responsible for quality control of purchased parts and services;
• Resolving critical issues ensuring they are handled correctly and within current policy;
• Coordinating financial cost recovery from suppliers (charge-backs);
• Management of supplier issues KPI's effectively and efficiently.

Profile

• Engineer degree in Quality or Manufacturing or equivalent experience;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineer position;
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in similar position in manufacturing - nice to have;
• Experience in metal making processes - steel mills, castings, forgings and other;
• Experience in heat treatment would be an advantage;
• Ability to build relationships and communicate at every level of the organisation's structure;
• Leadership, managerial, training, and coaching skills;
• Self-motivated & innovative problem solver, focused on Root Cause Investigation;
• Excellent English skills;
• Leadership skills & hands on and proactive approach;
• Knowledge of MS Office
