Team Leader In Global Surveillance

Global Surveillance incorporates almost all surveillance conducted in the second line of defense, providing a broad operational and technical surveillance platform that delivers outcomes the CCOs and MLROs of the Firm’s divisions around the globe.

As a Team Leader in Global Surveillance you will organize and oversee daily work dispatch and results according to timeliness and accuracy requirements, perform QA work and procedures governance. You will be responsible for talent development according to specific team’s needs.

Review and evaluate potential incidents of violation of specific local regulatory requirements or exchange rules. Build and maintain strong relationships with high-level partners around the world (e.g. Front Offices, Compliance Departments, Traders), and support/ manage the deployment of activities assisting in the development and reputation of the department.

You will promote awareness of applicable regulatory standards, compliance risks and industry standards within the teams and across the business. Act as a liaison with internal and external control groups in managing compliance-related issues as well as respond to audit requests.

We are looking for:

  • Hold University degree in Finance, Economics, Law or a related field; specialization in Capital Markets or Banking.
  • Have at least 3 years of proven experience and 1+ years of experience in managing a team, ideally within: Compliance, Trading, Operations, Settlement, Trade Management, Trade Support, Sales, Risk Management, Product Control, Securities IT or similar.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication with proficiency in English.
  • Aware of the complexity of financial products and have deep understanding of banking industry- with a focus on applicable global regulatory environment.
