IT Engineer

Plan, develop, support and document IT Infrastructure systems in line with Meniga strategies. Responsible for implementing and supporting IT infrastructure components such as operating systems, software tools and utilities. 

Operate and support Meniga Cloud Solution as an active part of the 24/7 - 365 Operation Team.

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Lead Meniga´s internal service desk according to the company SLA. 
• Ensure the configuration of workstations, servers and services are aligned with internal policies and standards. 
• Cooperation with software vendors.
• Create and maintain technical documentation. 
• Participate in on-call shifts for Meniga´s Operation Team and internal production. 
• Escalate issues and make recommendations to resolve them to the appropriate audience. 
• Conduct root causes analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting IT Infrastructure. 
• Other duties as assigned or requested. 

Qualifications: 

• Education, Licenses/Certifications 
• Minimum three years of experience in Information Technology 
• Good communication skills in English 
• Team player

Required knowledge: 

• Microsoft  Services such as 

  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Hyper-V

  • Office 365 

  • PowerShell scripts 

  • Windows 10 

• Network (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall, Switches etc.)
• Linux basis 
• Mac OS X basis 
• Central Wi-Fi network management (Unifi etc.) 
• Encryption standards and certificates 

Preferable skills: 

• Microsoft Intune 
• Microsoft Azure services (IaaS and PaaS) 
• Mobile Device Management (OSX and Linux) 
• Jira 
• GitHub
