Vendor Management Expert

Key responsibilities:

• Preferred supplier implementation and operational management:
• 1/operational implementation of strategy (contracts/projects) and run change management process
• 2/supplier performance follow-up on operational activities
• 3/run consolidation activities (analyze and move spend from other suppliers)
• 4/promote preferred supplier, selling in the advantages, training requesters
• Deep understanding of what to buy and where, to guide buyers and requesters; technical understanding to challenge requesters and suppliers before escalating to Category Managers.
• Coach and support Global Services - Procurement  organization in the category strategy and ensure all buyers ‘lives’ the strategy in daily work
• Support Catalogue Manager on catalog development a tactical level with suppliers
• Act as 1st level escalation point for operational issues (preferred suppliers)
• Implement projects aligned with Global Services - Procurement  Focus Area
• Strategic and value-adding local projects (e.g. new production facility)

We are looking for:

• at least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position ( Procurement understanding and buyer experience) 
• fluent English
• system knowledge (SAP/BW) as an advantage​
• knowledge of German, Danish, French language would be an advantage
• Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• strong communication & negotiation skills - must have
• data analysis skills and experience
