Procurement, Senior Specialist - Finished Product Sourcing - New Projects & Operations

What You Will Do

  • Manage launch, cost, and quality projects related to finished goods (various brands)  throughout product life cycles to achieve unit cost targets, quality targets, and maintain program timing for assigned products
  • Coordinate internal deliverables to suppliers – demand planning, designs, quality, cost targets as well as develop a detailed action plan for supplier & track progress against the launch plan
  • Lead & coordinate day-to-day activities for new finished products launches & modifications with supplier and the cross-functional internal team (Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain)
  • Resolve launch readiness issues to meet project milestones
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators for assigned products/categories in the region
  • Execute Day-to-Day procurement activities in the region & with relevant stakeholders (eg. system updates, business continuity, payment issues resolution)

What You Need To Succeed

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in procurement or project management office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated use of project management skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple key activities and competing priorities
  • Very good communication skills & willingness to work in a global environment, high flexibility to collaborate with other cultures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal process partners and suppliers
  • Manage ambiguity via strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and business acumen
  • Proficient with analytical computer related skills (Google Suite/ MS Office). SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Self-motivated, results oriented and flexible attitude
