Security Services Technical Lead

Job Description

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of the security update operations. This includes providing insight and guidance to development aspects, testing processes, and delivery mechanisms of timely operating system security updates for mission critical systems. In addition, this role will serve as the escalation point for troubleshooting and identifying resolutions for technical issues.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

• Hands on experience as a system administrator, with a strong understanding of PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
• Knowledge of virtualization concepts and products (i.e. VMware ESXi)
• Experience with managed system support and automated patching solutions (i.e. SCCM, Jenkins) 
• Familiar with networking concepts such as IP addresses, network devices, and networking concepts in order to assist with network troubleshooting
• Experience in performing troubleshooting, break fix, or technical support on Windows or Linux operating systems
• Previous experience in serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues or troubleshooting
• Proven ability to be a technical thought leader driving automation and operational efficiencies
• Be able to promote forward thinking throughout the organization
• Have the ability to work under pressure of time and within tight delivery schedules 
• Have a good command of English (written and spoken)
