Early Careers and Campus Recruitment - Specialist

To support the process of hiring high volumes of quality candidates (early in career level) by coordinating activities with clients’ recruiters, reviewing direct applications in a highly efficient manner, providing support with administrative and coordination tasks (administering online tests, booking phone interviews, completing administration processes for events, on boarding activities, etc.). The Campus Recruitment Specialist – will take ownership of one or more hiring campaigns at any time, tracking the performance of those campaigns to ensure the success of the campaign. Early Careers & Campus Specialist work often includes team management (ie. workload allocation) and elements of project management (ie. setting up daily targets, milestones, etc.) as well as contact with senior stakeholders and the client.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Ownership for one or more hiring campaigns at any time – planning activity to ensure that start dates or assessment centres are fulfilled, tracking progress of the hiring campaign to ensure success, liaising with manager and Client Services teams to instigate actions to resolve challenges
  • Develop a high level of understanding of the client’s business, strategy and competitors and a high overall sector understanding
  • Ensure regular communication with Client Services team to understand on-going requirements and to share progress of activity
  • Work with colleagues to design and implement effective strategies of managing high volume of applications to meet overall demand, across multiple positions or geographies
  • Develops capability to co-ordinate and oversee the workload of colleagues, as directed, in order to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns
  • Fully utilise relevant ATS (Applicant Tracking System) ensuring that activities are conducted within the ATS as appropriate, that data accuracy and quality is maintained through all processes and that it accurately reflects the status of all activity
  • Engage with the Client or wider team (as directed) to take detailed briefs on role requirements, sharing expertise and best practice as appropriate
  • Report progress on weekly or monthly basis, as requested (MI reporting, KPI, monthly dashboards)

To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Experience in candidate selection or recruitment within at least one industry sector and knowledge of multiple hiring profiles, across multiple accounts/clients, ideally experience with graduate level or volume recruitment
  • Experience in team coordination, setting daily targets, monitoring KPIs. Good written and spoken English language skills plus other languages as appropriate to the client-specific requirements
  • Problem solver, proactive, organized, and resourceful
  • Strong team player
  • Client focused with outstanding judgment and strong attention to detail
  • Thrives in a fast-paced ambiguous environment and has the ability to manage changing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
