Commercial Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner

For our Client, new Company on the Silesia market, we are looking for experienced candidate who will join to the new established structure to take the position of Commercial Finance Manager/ European Finance Business Partner.

The person on the position will provide finance support to the VP Commercial by maximizing the commercial functional business results, as well as influencing, supporting and challenging key decisions.

Company is located in Katowice but there is opportunity to work remotely with occasional travels to Katowice and other locations spread across the Europe.

Key responsibilities:

• providing finance support covering the commercial functional business portfolio across Europe,
• owning budgeting and forecasting processes,
• supporting and influencing strategic decisions by preparing business analysis (business modeling, opportunity and risk assessments, scenario analysis, etc.) and an ‘outside in’ focus,
• ensuring the commercial team focus their strategic and capital allocation on the most profitable areas,
• identifying and influencing the commercial functional improvements through analyzing financial plans, management information and performance,
• managing capital investments and monitoring performance of business cases.

Requirements: 

• university degree in relevant field (business, finance, accounting, economics),
• financial experience, including FP&A, Accounting and Internal Control, and prior business decision support,
• fluency in English,
• strong business orientation with an ability to understand and explain business results and translate into financial consequences,
• strong analytical and communication skills.
