Test Development Engineer with C#

We are looking for a Test Development Engineer experienced with C# products to join a QA team working for a leading e-payment services provider. The objective is to deploy the Global Online payments solutions. Products, that we build, process millions of transactions every day, ranging from solutions like Visa, Master Card, Pay Pal to country-specific payment methods and serving leaders in industries like Retail (Carrefour), Transport (Emirates) and Digital (Valve). Focus on continuous improvement for testing activities. Endorse the quality principles across squads and bring the quality-first mindset to the company. Ensure platform quality, stability, and test release processes.

Responsibilities:

• Challenge processes and procedures, in the context of continuous improvement
• Identify and resolve workflow and production issues with the team
• Extend, improve, and maintain existing test frameworks to standardize the process of testing across the company
• Work with Agile team, ensuring and improving product quality on ASP.NET platform
• Lead and control the development of E2E test specifications
• Learn and participate in the development of automated test suites in Selenium Web Driver (C#) with Specflow to increase quality in the development teams
• Analyze test results and submit corresponding defects/tasks for developers
• Execute and report on a weekly and monthly basis the status of our platform on the different environments

Challenges:

• Work with the agile development teams to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the testing process to find opportunities for improvements
• Take charge and oversee the release process in the assigned teams
• Work with an experienced squad of QA Engineers to improve quality processes and testing strategy on a global/company level
• Endorse the quality principles across squads and bring the quality-first mindset
• Develop a testing part of the continuous integration and deployment process
• Provide a vision of quality for the product

• Experience in quality practices and testing tools
• Strong knowledge of different types of testing, focus areas, and testing implementations
• Strong programming skills in C#
• At least 3 years of experience in automation testing with C#
• Experience and strong skills in automated testing using Selenium Web Driver, Selenium Grid
• Knowledge of BDD: Specflow
• Experience in automation of REST services
• Experience in the usage of CI
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Experience in load/performance testing is a plus (JMeter)
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in working in one of the Agile frameworks (Spotify Agile, Scrum, SAFe) is nice to have
• Previous experience of work in the quality assurance team whose goals are the general quality of the finished products is a plus
