Logistics Coordinator
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of work:
• Sea freight import flow (from Asia to multiple European countries)
• Road freights arrangement (in Poland and other European countries)
• Warehousing & stock management assistance
Daily tasks and duties:
• Arrange shipments with selected forwarders and ensure the expected operational performance, for example transit times or consolidation optimization
• Take the necessary actions in the event of performance failure: challenge suppliers with their transport planning, find internal or external alternative solutions in relation with the team and colleagues, etc.
• Monitor the proper execution of the supply chain process, both in terms of operations (above) and administration (correct invoicing, proper documentation flow, etc)
• Ensure the consistency of data within our IT systems and various reports
• Close cooperation with our warehouses and printing houses (this includes working with WMS)
• Provide visibility on the transport schedules to the team management and various internal & external stakeholders (Sourcing, Publishers, Finance, etc.)

OUR REQUIREMENTS
• We are looking for a logistics enthusiast, hungry of knowledge and willing to get his/her hands in different logistics areas
• University degree in Logistics, Transport or International Trade is strongly preferable
• 3+ years of professional experience in international logistics or trading sector, ideally with exposure to overseas imports and European distribution
• Knowledge of storage and/or transport systems is a plus
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is a must – you will have to contact interlocutors across all Europe and Asia on daily basis
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular)
• Proactive way of working with a strong “can do” attitude
• Good organization & communication skills. Ability to precisely analyse, plan, execute and communicate on supply chain processes.
• Ability to work as a part of the team
• An open mind and a bit of fun
