Junior Engineer (New Feature Development)

We are helping our client, one of the biggest e-commerce companies, to establish a new office in Warsaw. The company is successfully and rapidly expanding worldwide and sees a great potential on Polish market, as a start of further development in Europe.

You will join the company as a Junior Engineer (new features development) you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the new features development of the product/platform (buying, payment, customer service options, etc.)
• Project coordination, daily contact with abroad engineering team and local other departments of the business
• Gain first-hand experience working on leading platform to enhance the user experience
• Have the opportunity to work alongside top engineers to gain invaluable insights on how to build a scalable and high performance software platform

• Learn how each of our products/platforms operates from the ground up
• Recommend product/platform improvements to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Able to build strong relationships through problem understanding, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, and communicating promptly on progress
• Respond to system queries, perform troubleshooting, and conduct research to identify solutions to the reported issues
• Ensure continuity of operations by establishing and observing the team’s adherence to standard operating procedures
• Hands-on experience to apply computer science studies in a professional environment

You are a perfect candidate if you have: 

• Candidate should possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in computer science or similar
• Ability to work independently and flexible with a good attitude and eagerness to learn
• Sharp troubleshooting skills, a great problem solver with the ability to take system problems and structure an action plan
• Strong communication skills in English and Polish, written and verbal
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and working under pressure
• Highly meticulous and detail-oriented
