IT Support Specialist (2nd line)

Your tasks

  • You will be assigned to provide support to a number of sites and provide online support, covering:
  • 2nd level IT Support for End Users including support on corporate business tools such as O365, applications and servers
  • User Account administration (Active Directory)
  • Asset and license management
  • Research on technical topics to support user and resolve tickets, incidents and problems
  • Purchase local IT hardware such as: computers, printers, occasionally infrastructure as part of a project with direction from central IT
  • Support in the setup, configuration & maintenance of local IT hardware (OS Installation, hardware & firmware upgrades)
  • Organize and deliver startup courses for new employees
  • Planning, configuration and support of the network and firewall equipment (CCNA would be beneficial but not essential)

Other tasks may include

  • Work as part of a team to improve processes to reduce 1st level support
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders

Your profile

  • University Degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience on similar position ideally in an international environment ( as IT Service Desk, support)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems on administrative level
  • Good knowlegde of hardware, software, and networks
  • ITIL knowledge will be an asset
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to think and act proactively.
  • Fluent English written and spoken is a must (other langauges would be a plus)
