Big Data Developer

We are looking for a Big Data Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for building a strategic, data-sourcing, and analytics hub. You will become a member of the Platform Architecture and Innovations Team. We work in Agile methodology. In our team, we work with different technologies, so you will have a lot of opportunities to evolve your skills.

• Cooperate with the strategic vendor in design, engineer, deploy and maintain the end-user platform
• Engineer the integration between internal systems and vendor-provided APIs
• Design and engineer the PoC environments, including the cloud integration
• Closely work with BaU teams, providing the necessary knowledge and expertise
• Automate the tasks and deploy bulk scripts for Windows-based components using PowerShell scripting

• At least 2 years of experience with one of the following Big Data platforms is a must Cloudera, Hortonworks
• Knowledge of Hadoop ETL tools (sqoop, impala, hive, oozie)
• At least 2 years of experience with Bash scripting experience
• Practical knowledge of SQL programming skills and knowledge of GIT, Pentaho
• At least a year of experience with the programming languages: Python, PySpark, R, Scala, Java

Nice to have:

• Experience with Control-M workload automation tool
• Experience with Tableau reporting
• Experience with REST APIs
