Accounting Manager - Chief Accountant

For our Client- international manufacturing company based in Wrocław we are looking for an Accounting Manager.

Description

• Responsibility for monthly closing process including submission of Group IFRS Reporting on monthly basis along with Polish statutory reporting (e.g. preparation of yearly Financial Statements)
• Control over tax (VAT and CIT) and Polish regulatory reporting
• Cooperation with Shared Service Center
• Being responsible for leading and managing full accounting operations
• Supervising and monitoring the entire accounting process including general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, inventory, fixed assets, cash management and taxes
• Reviewing, investigating, and preparing corrections to errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
• Contributing to continuous improvement by proposing ideas, participating in projects and applying any agreed changes to processes
• Liaising with external and internal auditors, sharing relevant information with the auditors
• Maintaining relationships with third parties including financial institutions, auditors, tax authorities

Profile

• You have at least 5 years of practical experience in Finance/Accounting
• You can present proven successful track as Finance/Accounting expert and acting as Chief Accountant
• You are an expert in tax regulations and standards of international accounting
• You have excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
• You are resistant to stress & able to work under pressure
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills
• You have prior experience with ERP systems, knowledge of SAP will be an strong asset,
• You are highly motivated, hands on and open minded team player with strong analytical skills
