Senior Oracle/etl Developer
IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book) project provides a framework to calculate NII (Net interest income) at risk and related figures. It facilitates internal and regulatory reporting needs to achieve compliance with the FINMA regulations, based on BCBS 368 standards for Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book. IRRBB IT is responsible for managing, leading and executing IT deliveries focused on ALM IRRBB Program.
You will be focusing on Data sourcing, ETL and Linux scripts changes supporting the IRRBB ETL project. In the beginning you will learn and understand the data flow within the project and take up new requirements in the ETL side of the project. You will also help in analyzing critical production issues and suggest solutions or prepare patch releases.

ALM IRRBB data delivery team is built around 8-10 core members currently located in Wroclaw, Poland. You will be working closely with other 3-5 developers and 3-5 Business Analysts. Also you will get to interact with QRM end user and data quality teams mostly working from Zurich, Switzerland. We are looking for a developer with atleast 5 years of proven experience in below areas.
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of Oracle database based ETL solutions.
- Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL, Oracle database.
- Proven track record in writing SQLs using ANSI syntaxes.
- Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux commands and basic shell scripting.
- Working experience in Agile/Scrum methodology based teams.
- Experience in testing, debugging, using PL/SQL developer or similar tools.
- Experience in using GIT is a plus.
- Informatica Powercenter development experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn new technologies in the ETL or Business Intelligence technology areas.
- Assume ownership and accountability for the assigned deliverables.
- Must be flexible, proactive and open to new challenges.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage work effectively under pressure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
