SAAS & Operations Director
Location: up to 50% Wroclaw + home office
SAAS & Operations Director reports directly to CTO and will be responsible for setting up a SAAS delivery unit within the organization. Candidate employed on this position will have end-to-end accountability for SaaS based solutions and internal IT, including ensuring availability and service levels, effective client support of portfolio, and ensuring ongoing levels of client and employee satisfaction.
Reporting to CTO you will lead a team of Service Owners, Security Operations Centre and Business Technology teams to provide first-class operations for cloud hosted SaaS products, working across various technology stacks, systems, databases and storage solutions, and support across whole company product portfolio.
Understanding the scope of all products and components within each of services, you will oversee co-ordination of activities across Operations, Development, Product Management and Professional Services.
SAAS & Operations Director will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of software services
- Leading the Services function to deliver and support best in class SaaS services
- Implementing repeatable and sustainable processes that drive client satisfaction and cost efficiency
- Working with clients as an escalation point to resolve issues and participating in client interactions to ensure client satisfaction and regular management involvement.
- Adherence to client facing and internal SLAs
The ideal profile of candidates for this position includes the following criteria:
- Fluent English and Polish
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- At least 15 years of professional experience gained in technical roles in IT services delivery (preferably including SAAS)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing complex teams working for international Clients
- Proven track record of leading a service functions to deliver business growth.
- Excellent communication skills - engage and influence multiple stakeholders across all levels, regions and businesses, as well as able to understand different stakeholder needs.
- Experience within a SaaS operational role with proven hands on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or similar Cloud computing platforms
- Experience resolving and/or escalating issues in a cross-functional team
- Portfolio management – able to influence, manage and control multiple simultaneous processes and projects to a successful conclusion
- Ability to compare a variety of approaches and articulate the operational costs, benefits and delivery risks associated with the various options.
- High level of communication skills to effectively communicate and intermediate between the non-technical business and the technical teams.
