KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrable experience leading and shaping all solution designs across Wella IT project portfolio
• Proven track record as a solution architect delivering appropriate software application designs integrating cross technology solutions covering a variety of technologies
• Producing detailed Application &integration designs using industry standards in accordance with established Wella’s patterns and policies
• Full technical analysis at project feasibility stage including systems and technical input required for business cases and associated documentation
• Proven ability to think strategically, analyse data and information and develop and deliver appropriate, innovative and effective solutions.
• An Appreciation of DevOps, integrated development practices & Integrated Test etc.
• Demonstrate significant innovation and thought leadership across many technologies
• Act as a design lead on project and programme work, ensuring design and delivery is done in an optimal way
• Make sure we’re adopting the best ways of working and solutions available to, which are fit for the future
• Collaborate and form relationships with other teams within technology, understanding business requirements
• Work as part of a diverse project team, to help shape and deliver solutions at our most technically complex client engagements and early adopters
• Defining and documenting the technical landscape, reviewing the solution approach and architecture to help drive the best design and mitigate risk on complex IT/transformational programs
• Shaping, reviewing, or testing the solution plan and effort estimations that constitutes the program.
• Creation and management of non-functional requirements, including working with third parties to ensure deliverables are completed.
• Assist as required in the facilitation and gathering of functional/technical requirements; steering conversations where appropriate to ensure technical feasibility and design simplicity.
• Working closely with client stakeholders to ensure the designed solution meets industry and client specific requirements/standards & fits the strategic direction of the Wella’s enterprise architecture

• Solid experience in a role of a SAP technical/solution/application architect
• Fluent in English.
• B.Sc. degree with major in IT, computer science or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Results oriented with the ability to maintain focus on objectives in a multi-task demanding environment.
• Good problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
• Proven track record of working in a complex and multi-faceted organisation using a wide variety of current and legacy IT technology components
• Strong exposure to both waterfall based and agile/scrum based methodologies
• Proven track record as a solution architect delivering appropriate software application designs integrating cross technology solutions covering a variety of technologies.
• Relevant and current software development / engineering experience skills covering all aspects including all security and privacy aspects, error handling, monitoring and logging.
• High quality designs encompassing full error handling, monitoring and logging
• Good understanding of best practices for development of security standards compliant systems
• Strong exposure to application performance testing and optimisation.
• Knowledge of SAP
• Extensive knowledge of architecture design across a complex SAP landscape
• Good relationship building and communication skills and the ability to influence a variety of people across the business
