Customs Specialist / Specjalista ds. celnych

You will be responsible for:

• ensuring correct application of the country of origin (required for any cross-border movement) and preferential origin data (necessary for the application of the free trade agreements) in the TME systems 
• ensuring timely collection of the underlying documentation from the suppliers, compliance with the rules of origin set up in the free trade agreements, issuance of the origin documentation
• compliance towards the authorities, adherence to legal requirements
• ensuring the correct application of import and export declaration procedures for vehicles at various locations in the EU towards the customs authorities within the required deadlines
• customs and trade compliance tasks related to vehicles and parts customs procedures, starting from the customs declarations, to the duty payment and booking of the documents, whereby controls are in place to ensure compliance between invoices, system data and customs declaration
• support in the maintenance of the customs duty optimisation procedure and documentation, such as Outward Processing Relief (OPR) and filing of duty reclaim procedures

Requirements:

• Experience in customs/trade compliance or accounting, big data analysis, logistics, purchasing
• Fluent English 
• A degree in economics, accounting/finance, logistics or law; focus on international trade/customs/tax law is an asset 
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, knowledge of Excel is essential 
• Excellent communication skills
