eCommerce Manager

The E-commerce Manager is responsible to drive sales by leveraging business technology solutions and improve the on-line journey & experience for our consumers. Reporting to the Head of Omnichannel and working closely with the Marketing and Sales overseeing Avon’s online sales, awareness and customer & consumer experience.

As Omnichannel Commerce Manager you will:

  • Drive media strategy & media plan development with agency partner for both offline & online channels
  • Manage budgets and make budget recommendation
  • Manage the media/digital agency relationship including regular planning sessions and providing feedback on each campaign’s media plan
  • Coordinate timing and approval for financial commitments, challenge and oversee media buying and regular post buy analysis.
  • Cooperate with Regional/ Global media functions
  • Develop and optimize online media strategy to increase traffic, sales and new Customers & New Reps adoption
  • Design and manage new tools for Avon ecommerce platform
  • Develop and implement the emailing marketing/newsletter strategy, to ensure conversion of potential and registered Customers into orders, according to yearly sales target
  • Work with Customer Acquisition Specialist and Senior Customer Experience Specialist on email marketing strategy including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing and opt-in list growth
  • Contributes to the projects with in-depth knowledge of the digital area or specific topic that enhances a team’s understanding of a given system, third party solution or business process.

We’d love you to have:

  • Higher education, marketing and e-commerce background is preferred
  • 5 years digital experience in digital area
  • Knowledge about direct selling is a strong advantage
  • Thorough understanding of standard online metrics and terminology. Knowledge of web analytics tools required, omniture experience is a plus
  • Micro-level understanding of the online advertising
  • In depth knowledge of e-commerce specifics
  • Strong ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks, communicate information in a timely fashion and with the appropriate sense of urgency
  • Team management experience
  • Very good English (you will cooperate with Global team on a daily basis)
