IT Project Manager (Prince2)

The Project Manager will manage the end-to-end delivery and implementation of the re-platforming project, from initiation through to adoption and handover to BAU. Your task will be to manage the implementation of this change into the business, taking into account maximising employee adoption and usage, minimising resistance. You will bring together a global team of business representatives to ensure project success.

Our Client is an international company located in Warsaw. For their developing structures we are looking to hire experienced candidate for the role of IT Project Manager

Description

  • Ensure the project is focused throughout its lifecycle on achieving its objectives, operating within budget and timeframe
  • Ensure the objectives and the success criteria for the project are defined and agreed
  • Manage and drive core project activities (e.g. Project Charter, RFP, SOW, Investment Appraisal, Project Plan, Cost Tracking, Comms, etc.), in accordance with the agreed scope of project and following guiding principles
  • Own the proactive management and mitigation of risks and issues
  • Provide guidance and direction to the project team throughout the lifetime of the project
  • Own and manage reporting requirements across quality, risks, costs, issues, benefits etc. to the relevant forums
  • Capture and share learnings to continuously improve project team ways of working effectiveness and share learning with the Project Management Office

Profile

  • 10+ years project management experience, preferably including delivery of projects within the financial industry in a relevant market
  • Proven ability and proactivity to deliver Data Migration projects
  • Expertise in transformation governance frameworks, project tools and techniques, track record of taking responsibility for high quality and on-time project deliveries
  • Track record of driving to timelines, strong planning, communications, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including consultative/mentoring skills
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships
  • Proficient English speaking and writing skills as will be working closely with UK based teams
  • Prince II practitioner is a must
