Product Owner

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Product Owner with a strong technical aptitude, experience, and a passion for sport to join our Live Data Product Development team. You will work with customers, sporting federations and other product teams in the planning, design and implementation of strategically important programmes and projects within the Live Data Ecosystem. You will also support the management of our existing portfolio of bespoke data collection tools and the creation of innovative and disruptive Live Data products.

THE CHALLENGE:

• Reporting to the Tribe Product Owner, you will oversee one or more programme streams inside the Live Data Product portfolio and take responsibility for their vision and roadmaps
• You’ll manage business stakeholders to gather well-defined requirements in line with business objectives and manage expectations as well as gain sign off on deliverables
• Coordinate projects across cross-functional teams in product, design, operations, and sales
• Prepare product presentations, user guides and additional documentation in association with the Marketing team
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external partners, and customers, collecting and analysing feedback
• Identify and prioritise new product initiatives aligned with product vision and strategy
• Working within this collaborative environment, you will play a central role in driving and supporting the vision and delivery of Live Data goals and strategies

YOUR PROFILE:

• IT related university degree (BA / MA), or similar
• Fundamental understanding of the software development process
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Confluence and JIRA
• Grasp the big picture, while still delivering on the details
• You can tailor your message about the product to a different audience at any given time
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Flexible and able to work under pressure
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills in English. Other languages are a bonus
• An independent and results-oriented attitude
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to be creative, analytical and think outside the box to solve problems
• You love sport and are enthused by the prospect of working on projects that sit at the intersection of technology and sport
