Client Details

Our Client is a western Automotive manufacturing company with its Polish site located in Świdnica. Currently we are searching for an expert in the range of new product implementation to join its constantly growing Product Engineering department.

Description

  • Lead continuous engineering product development initiatives after its implementation into serial production.
  • Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, or technologies.
  • Comes up with, develops and implements VA/VE cost saving initiatives.
  • Develops and documents functional requirements and translates into detail design documents. Participates in buy-build analysis for product components.
  • Researches new materials and competitive products.
  • Organizes, coordinates and executes building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
  • Assists supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance.
  • Oversees the efforts of drafting and testing specialists.
  • Participates in and supports proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Manage the release of the design through the design change process.
  • Support the change management process from release through validation and implementation.
  • Creates and maintains Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Applies the fundamentals Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) to the product drawings.
  • Develops and maintains a product validation test plan (DVP&R).
  • Assist in managing an engineering release program.
  • Helps managing APQP requirements for product engineering.
  • Ability to work with a variety of global suppliers to ensure parts conform to engineering specifications.

Profile

  • Min. 2 years of professional experience in the range of product / project engineering (preferably gained in Automotive industry)
  • Technical education (Mechanical engineering)
  • English fluency (min. B2 level); German will be an additional asset
  • Experience in following programs/software: Catia / NX, Minitab, Microsoft Project, PLM, Excel
  • Ability to work in an international work environment, with a variety of global customers
