Sourcing Team Leader


SUMMARY:

The Lead Sourcer supervises the work of two or more full-time employees on a global platform and directs their efforts to identify and attract top tier candidates by conducting ongoing sourcing strategy development and measurable project-based process (SOP) improvement initiatives for the purpose of exceeding expectations as identified by Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all key stakeholders, with a focus on a positive candidate experience.

 
 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Creates, updates, improves, and oversees adherence to standard operating procedures and best practices and ensures compliance, process and quality consistency.
  • Evaluates current initiatives, strategies, pipelines, tools, technologies, job boards, etc. and identifies, recommends and develops best practices in sourcing; assists with developing and implementing solutions for optimization.
  • Collaborates with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the cultural; diversity; skills and business needs of the clients as it relates to their candidate cultivation.
  • Oversees, manages, and reports back sourcing ROI to Account Managers.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and escalates to management as necessary.
  • Oversees the development of or develops role specific and comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet program requirements; develops job-related marketing content.
  • Oversees and/or conducts complex data mining, targeted searches, and outreach to various resources to source potential candidates, including cold-calling.
  • Oversees and/or performs the compilation, formatting and preparation of sourcing metrics and assists with creating information presentations for internal operational and/or client business reviews.
  • Oversees and/or performs the entry and tracking of candidate data in various electronic systems and runs standard reports as required.
  • Identifies candidates and shares information with appropriate recruiters to initiate the vetting process.
  • Conducts market and competitor evaluations and reports results.
  • Fields complex inquiries from candidates and hiring managers; escalates inquiries to senior team members and/or management as necessary.
  • Responsible for setting and maintaining a governance cadence with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervises employees and assists with making personal and professional development decisions.
  • Identifies performance goals, analyzes performance metrics and assesses team member performance; coaches team members and shares feedback for development with management.
  • Trains and provides guidance on industry best practices, as well as client-specific needs and expectations, to less experience team members.
  • Provides a consultative approach for internal and client stakeholders regarding sourcing strategy and overall talent attraction.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
 
EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Americas: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • EMEA: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • APAC: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum three (3) years of sourcing or research experience; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Previous experience utilizing a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) and/or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.

  • Ability to utilize market research tools and techniques.
  • Ability to develop, improve and streamline processes to meet established goals and objectives.

  • Ability to manage conflict and demonstrate the courage to challenge organizational thinking and the status quo.
  • Experience working in a global organization preferred.
  • Ability to interact with professionals on niche platforms.
  • Proficient in utilization of marketing, social media and other online tools and/or platforms.
  • Ability to maintain a basic understanding of and compliance with related federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles, best practices, and standards of talent sourcing, such as creating and utilizing Boolean Search Strings.
  • Expert proficiency with electronic sourcing resources, such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
