Validation and Testing Engineer

Your role:

You become a member of our Product Validation and Testing laboratory team, within the area of mechanical vibrations or EMC/SI testing, responsible for verification of Aptiv connection systems components reliability.

Preparing and testing of products in compliance with customer requirements/international standards

Defining and optimizing validation plans by selection of relevant requirements and test methods
-
Creating and verifying the test protocols and test reports
-
Reporting the tests results and status of assigned projects

Development, implementation and modification of test methods according to customer requirements

Identification of new requirements or key product characteristics in order to anticipate readiness of suitable equipment, methods and competencies in the laboratory

Conducting root cause analysis and developing problem solving solutions

Controlling technical documentation, test records and testing equipment

Your Background:

Technical university degree in Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Grounded knowledge in the area of electrical metrology and statistics

Good understanding of physical basis of electromagnetic coupling OR mechanical vibrations

Excellent communication skills and teamwork approach

Great analytical skills and desire to constantly develop knowledge

Very good command of English

Proficiency in MS Excel
-
Prior experience in R&D is an advantage
