Senior Actuarial Analyst
The Performance Transformation Team aims to deliver initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity across the actuarial function. The team is responsible for simplification, automatization, and optimization of actuarial processes across the Group.
What will you be doing?
- Designing, and implementing of the end-to-end actuarial processes, minimizing the number of manual tasks in financial processes across the Aviva Group
- Modifying existing calculation tools used in various processes across the organization,
- Developing and upgrading Prophet actuarial models (Solvency II, IFRS17), as well as creating tools for data collection and analysis
- Building a comprehensive solution for business planning in line with Solvency II and IFRS17
- Deep-dive analysis of the key profit, solvency, and performance indicators across the organization

What we’re looking for?
- University graduate in Actuarial Science, Math, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field
- A minimum of 2 years working experience in the actuarial field
- Deep understanding of Solvency II framework, in particular of BEL and SCR calculation
- Knowledge and experience of IFRS17 would be beneficial, but is not required
- Strong data analysis and manipulation skills
- Working experience in VBA, SQL, R or Python
- Effective written and oral communication skills, including the ability to express concisely technical concepts to the non-expert audience
- Working knowledge of Prophet may be beneficial but not essential
