Logistics Planner
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate freight / logistics quotes from Winning Moves global freight providers
- Create all shipment documentation required for import, export, customs compliance and any national and regional legislation in respect of the transportation of freight
- Manage timelines, shipment plan variances and communicate to all relevant parties accordingly
- Arrange for Delivery or Collection in accordance with terms of sale agreed with Client and their shipping/supplier procedures
- Ensure all documentation is in order to comply with all customs legislation and VAT requirements. E.G. proof of export for zero rated supplies.
- Communicate any client specific packing, labelling and delivery instruction to Winning Moves 3PL and ensure Orders are being prepared for shipment in time
- Ensure loading takes place as scheduled
- Pre-alert client of delivery, Booking-in collection and/or delivery with Customer/freight providers as required
- Check final schedule and confirm final delivery, ensuring service compliance
- Receive vendor invoices, record in databases along with any accompanying shipping paperwork such as customs declarations and proof of deliveries and process to Finance

Experience & Knowledge:
- At least 4 years’ experience in international logistics
- Essential to have a in depth knowledge of Import, Export, multi-modal & cross trade activity
- Essential to have a in depth knowledge of all modes of transportation
- Essential to have a strong knowledge of Incoterms
