IT Manager

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Managing the support of operational IT services, and configuration all applications supporting the account;     
  • Leading a team of IT specialists (optional);                                                                                              
  • Drive innovation using technology into the business to deliver efficiency and value from IT. Deliver improvements to existing IT environment, delivering efficiency and value to internal and external customers;                                            
  • Support the implementation of a business transformational agenda in line with the IT and product strategy;                                                                                                                   
  • External Customer Relationships - manage and support communication with external customers as appropriate to support business development and existing operations;                                               
  • IT Supplier Management - management of IT suppliers within area of responsibility;           
  • IT Product Management - management of IT products within area of responsibility;                  
  • Problem Management and Change Management processes as a key functional output of the Service Desk;
  • Identify effectively and efficiently the cause of the Incidents and trends.                                      
  • Ensuring changes are processed and documented accurately and new hardware / software are well controlled and released.                                         
  • Support the customer with IT projects, business requirements mapping and software/ application development.

Requirement:

  • Min. 5 years in IT sector in Logistic area (Food & Retail Experience Desirable);
  • People management experience at middle management level (desirable);                                    
  • High level knowledge of Software Components & Operating system requirements SOA (Service Orientated Architecture);                                                                                                                                
  • Software Configuration & Change Management experience;                                                             
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Azure Cloud Technology;
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software;
  • Strong Visual Studio (i.e, C#), T-SQL/ DB2 SQL development skills;                                                   
  • Managing the support and successful realization of business solutions;
  • Good communication and listening skills, and effective in communicating ideas;         
  • Strong Leadership skills;                                                                                                                               
  • Project Management skills (DePict, Prince 2);                                                                                          
  • Change Management skills.
