I2P Team Lead


About the assignment

The Team Lead I2P (Invoice to Pay) is responsible for managing the Warsaw team of AP specialists acting as Center of Excellence for our business and outsourcing partner. This role will ensure that KPIs are met and delivered on operational objectives thereby meeting/exceeding customer satisfaction with an added emphasis on continuous improvement of processes. The position requires an individual with a strong background in operational work, managing people, and ability to deliver and improve routine processes to drive business efficiency and deliver results. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Managing the I2P team (10 people) and operational activities covering multiple BUs across the EMEA region. 
  • Identifying improvements and initiating improvement projects. 
  • Being responsible for all payable transactions. 
  • Creating and maintaining a high-performance environment characterized by positive leadership and strong team orientation.  
  • Displaying a high level of effort and commitment to performing work, operating effectively within the organizational structure, demonstrating trustworthiness, and responsible behavior. 
  • Initiating contact with various programs and units within the agency, vendors, state agencies, and district offices regarding payments and develops a solution for accounts payable discrepancies. 
  • Serving as a liaison in responding to accounts payable inquiries for the solution of routine payment problems or information or interpretation from third parties, such as various programs or units within the agency, vendors, government entities, or auditors.

About you

  • Financial and business analytical skills with the ability to analyze data for business decisions in a timely manner.  
  • Invoice to Pay expertise with more than 5 years and experience in managing teams. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal/external stakeholders. 
  • Communication and change management skills.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent.
