Senior GL Accountant (EMEA)

In our Warsaw Shared Service Center we are currently looking for candidates for 2 open positions within the  GL Accounting Team EMEA:

Senior General Ledger Accountant, and
General Ledger Accountant

This are office-based opportunities in Solenis SSC in Warsaw, and our new employees will begin their work in our brand new office near Rondo Daszynskiego M2 station.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for book keeping and accounts reconciliations (EMEA entities)
• Posting journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred income, payroll
• Preparing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Analyzing P&L and Balance Sheet for posting errors, adequate accruals and the correct application of accounting rules
• Supporting controllers by providing and analyzing data

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years’ experience in GL Accounting
• Practical knowledge in SAP will be an advantage
• High level of accounting professional knowledge
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and train less experienced colleagues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
