IT Assistant

Job description

1. Obtaining IT knowledge about technology, new trends and security.

2. Ongoing team support in daily work, e.g.: 

  • Assistance in maintaining the functionality of all IT infrastructure (hardware, software, systems, etc.)
  • Problem-solving related to hardware, software, peripheral devices, etc.
  • Local and remote end user support.
  • Need to learn new technologies depending on end users needs. 
  • Proactive approach, detect flaws before they are reported.
  • Preparing and repairing laptops and PCs for employees.
  • Availability to come to the office at least 3 days in a week to follow routine checkups.
  • Being able to help our IT team with advanced modernization and implementation of new systems is a plus.
  • Close collaboration with other office and administration teams.

3. Monitoring, registration, documentation, oversight, etc.

  • Hardware - procurement, documentation, maintenance of stock and shopping.
  • Assistance in software assignment, shopping and documentation
  • Close contact with suppliers.
  • Assistance in users onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Management of access controls.
  • Follow and implement flexible workstation solutions dedicated to different game development specialists.
  • Prepare the workstations for use by employees following a high standard (e.g. install and configure operating system, dedicated software, making sure there is no clutter etc.)

Must-haves 

  • Up-to-date knowledge and drive to be oriented in current technical trends, standards, solutions, etc.
  • Good work organization, ability to document things you do.
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Windows.
  • Working English proficiency. 
  • Knowledge of and reliability in building productive documentation.
  • Resourcefulness, initiative and proactive approach.
  • Good communication and conversation skills.
  • Availability to regularly be present in the studio in Warsaw.
  • Friendly, positive attitude.
  • Openness to working in a culturally diversified team.

 Would be great if

  • You have knowledge of VMWare, Windows Server, Powershell, Perforce (or other version control software), Unreal Engine, Pulseway.
  • You know work automation systems (e.g. Jenkins).
  • You have experience in IT support (onsite or remote 1st line).
