Head of Business Development – Dyrektor działu rozwoju biznesu

The selected person will be responsible for:

  • shaping, implementing and executing a sales and customer service strategy,
  • intellectual property management and commercialization of research results,
  • building a strong position of the company in the industry,
  • analysing market trends and business development opportunities (especially in terms of the laboratory and scientific-research potential),
  • managing the area of ​​acquiring partners for the implementation of joint research projects,
  • building long-term, effective business relations with strategic partners,
  • managing the area of ​​initiation and launching start-up or spin-off companies in order to commercialize scientific and research results.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented person with outstanding skills:

  • comprehensive understanding of the market and strategic planning,
  • establishing contacts and building business relationships,
  • building effective sales and marketing teams,
  • translating the strategy into operational goals,
  • managing teams of over 10 people,
  • implementing and adapting products to customer needs,
  • achieving specified sales volume (n million euro / year).

We require:

  • at least 10 years of experience in business development,
  • experience with corporate clients,
  • self starter attitude,
  • problem-solving skills,
  • knowledge of English at the business level, written and spoken,
  • experience in the electronics industry (advanced materials, nano/micro, semiconductors, batteries, sensors etc.),
  • high work culture,
  • multitasking skills,
  • strong skills of planning own and team work,
  • driving license and readiness for business trips.

Nice to have:

  • knowledge of German and/or French,
  • knowledge and experience in management methods such as Lean Startup and Scrum.
