Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Control Engineer is a key role within the Alcomex Door spring Business Unit in Marki which beside the Poland also has production locations in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and India.
The QC engineer is a member of the local production team and will be responsible for production- and product quality making sure the shipped goods the meet Alcomex standards and are in line with customer specifications and expectations. The QC Engineer reports directly to the QA manager and GM in Marki .
Duties/responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that our products meet the required specifications in regards to quality, prior to delivery,
- Improves, identifies and sets appropriate quality control processes and parameters for Alcomex products.
- Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
- If needed coordinates product testing processes and participates in product testing in close cooperation with the Technical Department manager in Opmeer or technical Support Engineer in Marki.
- Maintaining and improving processes in accordance with the provisions of the quality management system procedures as set in ISO9001:2015,
- Execute internal audits and workplace inspections to secure Health-, Safety and Work instructions meet all local regulations
- Implements QC procedures and standards for non-conforming product,
- Monitoring of QC procedures during production and the finished product,
- Planning and implementation of corrective, preventive, and improvement actions in relation to non-conforming products
- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
- Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
- Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
- Weekly Non Conformity report to the Local MD and the QA manager for the door spring division

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor level/degree in Mechanical Engineering (Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as quality control engineer
- Green belt 6 Sigma- practices or equivalent, within a manufacturing environment,
- Familiar with quality control systems such as ISO9001 and best practices,
- Experience with nonconformance processes including material-, product failure review and internal audits,
- Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point),
- Flexibility to work outside of core business hours
