The opportunity
We are looking for Senior Technical Lead to join our Managed Services practice. Managed Services within EY GDS is primarily responsible for providing the below services to our clients:- Assessment and Strategy Planning
- Service On-boarding
- Cloud Enablement and DevOps
- Solution/App Management
- E-CLAIMS: Platform in charge of the capture and transmission of refund requests in the context of a trip or a rental. These requests are transmitted to the bodies holding the insurance policies and in charge of the actual reimbursement. This platform is composed of a web application to offer white label sites for end customers, but also an application for administering these sites as well as a monitoring application.
- MFI: This is an application that offers travel assistance services in the form of APIs that are offered to partners in order to be integrated into their end customer sites.
Your key responsibilities
- In consultation with the business teams, the mission will be to prepare the technical specifications relating to the evolutions of the platforms, to share them with the various technical teams involved, to plan and follow the implementation and delivery schedule as well as to supervise the developments made on the client Global side.
- Ensure proper functioning of the platforms and provide the business teams with different metrics (usage, performance, cost etc.) as well as be proactive on the areas of improvement.
- In collaboration with the development team, be in charge of ensuring the feedback of monitoring tools and coordinating operating actions.
- Be responsible for the functional and technical recipe phases and will have to modify/implement processes and tools if necessary to guarantee the quality of the deliverables.
- Be in charge of the coordination between the various client subsidiaries implemented in the framework of the projects in scope.
- As Scrum master the role will have to ensure the running and application of scrum practices and methodologies across the projects in scope.
- Organize the various ceremonies and remain in close collaboration with the Product Owner in addition to the development team.
- The applications being in production, this role will also have to ensure the realization of the support intended for the subsidiaries and also for the customers.
- Will also take part in the evolutions of the evolutions (Java) and will work closely with the Client Technical Leader. On this occasion, he will use the AWS platform and will have to increase his skills on the following services: IAM, S3, Lambda, SQS, Kinesis, Cognito, SES, Beanstalk and EC2

- Experience in managing projects in Agile/Scrum Environment
- Problem solving and troubleshooting with eye for details
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in both collaborative and independent work environments
- Languages: English – Fluent (Spoken and Written)
- Stakeholder Expectation Management
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Strong experience in Project Management using Agile/Scrum practices
- Knowledge on ITSM and Service Management frameworks
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Java 8, Spring
- REST / Jersey
- MySQL
- Microservices
- Jenkins, AWS (preferred)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline with 7 + years of experience in Service Delivery Management
- Certification in
- Project Management – PRINCE2/PMP/CSM
- ITIL v3/v4
